Revamp Your Room in Style
Often, people splurge thousands on selecting the “oh so perfect” furniture and room decor but are yet not satisfied with the end result. This happens simply because that room does not have a “you” element to it. Room decor needn’t be fancy. You need’nt spend a small fortune on it. Even the smallest of things can make your room look a lot better, with some dedication and patience.
So here are some ideas to make your room look more like “you”!
1) MOVE YOUR FURNITURE
For those who do not want too much change, yet want a subtle difference in the interiors of your room, revamping can be as simple as just moving your furniture to a different place. It can make a whole lot of difference to your room. It’s practically free so it’s also pocket friendly!
2) USE THE UNUSED
Got an old ladder hanging around? Use some spray paint on it to make it as good as new. You can use it to add a rustic touch to your room and it can also double up for storage!
3) LIGHT IT UP!
Lights are another great way to glam up your room. They’re easily available, super cheap and make your room look pretty. They glam up almost anything and also make your room look dreamy and spread that warm glow all around.
4) CANDLES TO THE RESCUE!
Another awesome way to decorate your room is to use candles! Candles make your room smell lovely and, as an added bonus, they also make your room look elegant. Candles in a particular scent helps provide your room that distinction and makes your room smell unique.
5) RULE 01 : DON’T LEAVE THE WALLS EMPTY
If you like your rooms sophisticated then go for paintings. They add color and brighten up boring walls. And if you’ve got no money to spend on expensive paintings, then why not DIY?
6) NO NUMBER OF CUSHIONS ARE TOO MANY CUSHIONS
Don’t shy away from mixing patterns and adding more cushions. Pile on the pillows, experiment with patterns and double up that comfort factor!
7) PICTURES, PICTURES EVERYWHERE!
Your bedroom should express your personality so don’t just stick to design principles, add in pictures of your loved ones and favourite memories. Preserve your favourite concert tickets, photos, airline tickets in a photo frame.
Remember that less is more! Too much of anything is good for nothing so don’t flood your room with useless pieces, keep what is necessary and throw out the unwanted.
Have a happy Room decor time!
