The facebook-owned WhatsApp has now updated the software with a feature which is surely going to make a lot of over-head work, way much easier. The new feature lets you send/share your documents over chats. This feature is available on the latest update of the App Store versions – Android v2.12.453 and iOS v2.12.4.

Also the device with which you want to share the document must also have the updated version of the App for a successful transaction. The option is appearing as Share Document in ios and Document option in Google Play in the Attachments section.

So now for new users, we have six attachment options with the recent addition of Documents. Right now this feature lets you share only pdf with the future prospectus of broadening this horizon for file type support.
