CEDAR POINT
Cedar Point, which is also known as ‘The Roller Coaster Capital of the World’, is a 365-acre amusement park located on the Lake Erie peninsula in Sandusky, Ohio. It is the second oldest operating amusement park in the US. This park features 71 rides, including 17 roller coasters, that keeps its visitors enthralled. It has the second most number of roller coasters.
It is the only amusement park in the world, with five roller coasters taller than 200 feet. It also includes 2 water rides that are perfect for chilling out in summers.

Operating season – May to September & for Halloween themed event known as Halloweekend.

- KNOEBELS
Knoebels Amusement Resort is a family owned and operated amusement park, located in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
This old-fashioned amusement park is a must visit for the budget conscious. Admittance and parking are free of charge. Moreover, this park is known for its tagline – “Make new memories the old fashioned way”. This park has 63 rides, including 6 kiddie roller coasters.
It also serves as a picnic spot and camping ground site, which is located at the back of the amusement park.
The Knoebels Grand Carousel is one of the largest carousels in the world, with 63 horses and 3 chariots. Riders on the outside row of horses try to reach out and grab steel rings as they pass. The rider who grabs the brass ring receives the cost of the ride in tickets, making the ride free. Three band, or fairground organs provide music for the riders.
Opened – July 4, 1926.
Operating season – April to September.

- WALT DISNEY’S WORLD MAGIC KINGDOM
“The most magical place on Earth” – Magic Kingdom, is located in Florida, U.S.A. It is the first amusement park, of the four theme parks by Walt Disney.
It is dedicated to Fairy Tales and Disney characters. In 2015, the park hosted 20.49 million visitors, making it the most visited theme park in the world for the tenth consecutive year.
Magic Kingdom is divided into 6 ‘themed lands’. The 3 feet narrow gauge – Walt Disney World Railroad, circles the entire 1.5 mile (2.4 km) perimeter of the park and stops at Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, and Fantasyland.
Adventure land represents the excitement of exploring foreign lands. It is themed to resemble the remote jungles in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the South Pacific.
Fantasyland is dedicated to the young at heart and to those who believe that, “when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.” Classic attractions include, It’s a Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey’s, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Mad Tea Party.
Opened – October 1, 1971.

- UNIVERSAL’S ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE
“Vacation like you mean it” – This amusement park has 15 rides, including 5 roller coasters and 3 water rides.
Although most people associate Universal’s Islands of Adventure with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the park also has a number of 3D rides, nearby restaurants and a sizzling nightlife. Don’t forget to try the wizarding world’s non-alcoholic beverage; Butterbeer!
