But most of all, the series is an absolute treat for Fantasy- Lovers looking for bag- fulls of magic and magical races. A race through time, centuries old secrets and centuries old enemies makes the series thoroughly irresistible.
The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare
The Shadowhunter series is actually made up of three different series- The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices (prequel) and The Dark Artifices (ongoing). The books narrate the tale of quasi- angelic beings- ‘Shadowhunters’ whose duty is to protect humanity by fighting demons, dark- magic and keeping all other worldly dangers at bay. Definitely one of the best Urban Fantasy series out there.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
The series is a fantastic modern take on Ancient Greek myths and legends. You’ll never know what to expect next. With its own spin on Mythological monsters, demons, heroes, villains, creatures, places, gods, titans, etc on the loose in the bustling streets of New York, you’ll be hard pressed to unglue yourself from the books.
Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan
Our much loved heroes from the former series- Percy Jackson and The Heroes of Olympus – have grown up and made some new demigod friends. Together they travel through the breadth of the US, cross the Atlantic, fight their way through Rome and Greece and Hell too! Together these books make for a mind- blowing series and an unforgettable read.
Graceling Realm trilogy by Kristin Cashore
