TMP Make-up hacks every make-up addict must know!

Make-up is an art. We know masterpieces can take a while to create, so here are some borderline genius make-up hacks which will save you time in the morning! Thank me later 😉

1. Store your beauty blenders in an empty plastic Easter egg shell or egg carton

It’s great if you love to stay organised and hate it when your beauty blenders get dirty easily.

2. Use a hair dryer to heat up your eyelash curler

Blowing hot air on your eyelash curler will help your lashes curl easier and stay curled longer, just like how heat changes the pattern of your hair and holds a curl with a curling iron. Hit the lash curler with your blow dryer until it heats up, wait until it cools slightly but is still warm. Be careful because you don’t want to end up burning your lashes!

3. Use baby powder to make any lipstick matte

Matte lipsticks can be expensive and hard to find, so here’s an easy trick to turn any lipstick to a matte lipstick- place a thin tissue paper on your lip and dab some powder onto your lip with a cotton sponge and voila! Also, if you’re someone who loves crisp lipstick lines, then start off with an X on your upper lip as an outline and work your way through!

4. Use a spoon for the perfect wing

Getting a perfect wing can be quite a task so just use the flat end of a spoon to achieve a flawless wing.

5. Use a lighter eyebrow pencil for a more natural looking eyebrow

If you have dark eyebrows, always pick an eyebrow pencil that’s one shade lighter than your eyebrow color and use hair-like strokes to make it look more natural instead of just coloring in the entire eyebrow. Eyebrow goals much?

6. Foundation before concealer

Get your foundation done first and then apply your concealer, otherwise you’ll just end up removing the concealer as you apply your base.

7. Keep your brushes clean

It’s very important to use clean makeup brushes, otherwise it will result in excessive breakout on your skin. Make sure to clean your brushes once in every 2 weeks. You can use a brush cleaner or a gentle face wash to get them clean.
