Sri Ganganagar, popularly known as RJ13 is one of the most well planned cities of Rajasthan. It has been a part of the Indus Valley Civilisation. The city has a population comprising mainly Punjabis and Barris. So, here I stop my doing Wikipedia and share what I feel is most popular in my hometown.

Let’s start with food…

Mango Mix-

Refreshing drink of BASANT Mango Bar. A place and a drink of teen love and summers.

Agra Tikki-

The guy started off with a thella, now he is a proud owner of 2 shops. Spicy potato patty with chick pea curry and tangy sauces, served and garnished with onions is a treat for the mouth. A must try for street food lovers.

Rewari Barfi-

Most things change over time but what this delicacy of pure milk never changed for the good of us sweet to others. Its quality has been maintained.Rewari barfi personifies simplicity at its best. P.S.- Middle one is original one.

Pandit ji Kulche Chhole-

Delhi is known for its kuche chhola thella at every nukkad. But, if you haven’t tried Pandit ji kulche chhole, then you have missed something in your life.

Polka Pastry shop –

One of the oldest and the most popular confectionaries of Sri Ganganagar, it manages to stand up to the standards of big cities. Famous of its pastries and patties.

Raj Jeera-

Yes, it is from Sri Ganganagar and now exported to various countries too. It’s a masaledaar lemonade. The restaurant has transformed into a 3 plus star hotel. It’s a place where summer heat goes away.
