1. Bunk House Cafe, CP & Saket

This cafe located in the heart of New Delhi is the only cafe in the city that is especially built on bunking concept as the name reveals itself. Also, this cafe won’t let you dig a hole in your pocket because it’s pretty cheap in booze with decent food. Consider it to be a new and economy friendly place with a quirky ambiance for young guns. For all the college goers just show up your valid college id and get elated at this place by 50% off on sheesha and 20% off on your food and beverages bill. Sounds interesting, right? There’s a lot more to this quaint place right opposite Prince Pan Shop at M Block Market, GK-1. It’s spread over 3 floors and I surely recommend Elation as one of the most praiseworthy lounges in greater Kailash. Enjoy live projector screening of football and cricket matches, cheer for your favorite team with the summer cool packages. Blissful ambiance starts with the rooftop terrace of this place, nothing can beat an appealing cozy sitting as compared to a usual cafe’s indoor sittings. To add icing on the cake the food and drinks are surprisingly mouth-watering. Fish fingers with tartar dip is one of the best I’ve ever tried across the city. The staff is also doing a great job with their courteous hospitality. You need to undoubtedly head to this place to relax after you are done shopping at GK-1 market.

4. 1 Oak Cafe & Bar, Defence Colony

Another gem in the heart of Def Col market, truly one of a kind place as the name suggests. This place definitely will give you a good vibe as you enter. They’ve used sprinklers and fans all over the outdoor and terrace to counter the infamous Delhi summers. For the adjoining lawn area, the makeover and appealing seating is accompanied by soft-spoken and welcoming staff that will help you try out the praiseworthy food owing largely to its taste, variety and quantity. Super famous among the youth for its heavily ice base gigantic sheesha with clubbing of as many flavors as you wish to and also eyed some delightful encompassed drinks. Puttanesca risotto will give you chills on wondering how cheese can even be that creamy. Be it in terms of ambiance, food or live music, everything is spot on and is exactly what a person demands. Kudos to the singer and band performers. I’m not even lying when I go on to admit that it’s by far the best place for dining with parents or a session with your amigos. 1 Oak never disappoints; it deserves a visit so go experience it as soon as you can.

5. Utopia, Karkadooma

Located in the crowded Karkadooma Community Center, Utopia stands apart as a classy fine dining place. For a minute you will forget that you are in the middle of East Delhi. With its utopian inviting ambiance that is quite surprising as a set up and multi-cuisine menu, it has a very decent food spread to cater to both vegetarians and non-vegetarian connoisseurs. You can hog on stuffed chap, jalapeno poppers, and their hit list of North Indian and Continental starters.  It’s a get together hot spot for youths. Presentation of the food is extra ordinary and for cocktails – ‘authentic’ is the word. Pay for its premium and innovative atmosphere and you will be turned on by the fast service and impressive continental starters. Thumbs up for this one.
