TMP Last Words!
People have always been fascinated with the last words of others. A person is the most honest on his death bed.
Indeed,it is interesting to know the last words uttered during one’s dying minutes because last utterings can be the most valuable ones.
It can be something philosophical,a piece of wisdom,a joke or even a lifetime secret that they might have not told anyone.
Here is a list of famous last words uttered by people in their dying breaths.
1. “Last words are for fools who haven’t said enough.”
-Karl Marx , Philosopher
Well let’s just say he wasn’t too pleased with the idea of last words but his last words still make it to this list.
2. “I should never have switched from Scotch to Martinis.”
-Humphrey bogart, actor
Need I say more?
3. “A dying man can do nothing easy.”
-Benjamin Franklin,
This was what he said to his daughter who asked him to change his position so he could breathe more easily.
4. “Money can’t buy life.”
-Bob Marley, musician
What an interesting choice for a last word.
5. “Pardonnez-moi, monsieur.”
-Marie Antoinett
And it translates to – “Pardon me,sir. I didn’t do it on purpose.” Which she said after she accidentally stepped on her executioner’s foot.
6. “Is it not meningitis?”
-Louisa May Alcott,novelist
American novelist Louisa May Alcott had been suffering from an unknown illness. On her deathbed, she uttered these words believing that it was meningitis she was ill with. But it was only later,it was discovered that it was not meningitis that she died of, but mercury poisoning which she acquired when she was treated for typhoid fever years ago.
7. “I shall be with Christ, and that is enough.”
Michael faraday,chemical scientist
Before leaving the world, faraday calmly uttered these words in response to his wife’s question of what would be his new occupation in his next life.
8. “It’s very beautiful over there”

These were the final words of Thomas Edison. For the record,nobody knows what he referred to as beautiful but whatever it is, I’m sure it must’ve been really beautiful. It’s somewhere and it’s beautiful.
9. “I have offended God and mankind because my work did not reach the quality it should have”
-Leonardo Da Vinci, artist
Well, what about Mona Lisa then?
10. “I’ll show you that it won’t shoot.”
-Johnny Ace, R&B singer
were the last words of the famous singer which he uttered to his fans during a concert while playing with a pistol.
