Genius Parenting Hacks That Actually Work!

Parenting can be hard and can take a toll on parents’ life sometimes but it’s definitely all worth it in the end! So here are a few hacks to make your life with kids a little less stressful.

 

1. How did you do that?

Young people love proving their theories and things they just learnt, so the next time your kid learns something new like clay modeling or photography,or even if he learns to put on his shoes, encourage him/her to do better at it. Be surprised and ask how he/she did it. Try to actually show some interest in your kid’s drawing rather than just having a look at it. This way, the kid feels encouraged and will probably do it again.

 

2. No more locking in!

Just tie a rubber band around both the knobs of the door to keep your little one from getting locked inside the bathroom because we all know how scary that actually is!

3. Household chores can be fun too!

You can turn a few household chores into a fun game so your kids will actually enjoy doing it. This way, you can get your work done and your kids won’t get bored.

 

4. Find that Missing sock

Don’t we all keep losing one of our sock from its pair? Next time your kid loses one of his socks, make a sock finding board to reunite one lonely sock with its lost soulmate! This is the perfect idea to find all the lost socks because when someone finds it,they’ll pin it back to the board.

5. Treasure Hunt

Organize a treasure hunt for your kids. Place clues around the house with household chores or simple tasks like, “clean your drawer for the next clue” or “arrange your toys for the next clue”, etc. Children are curious so they will love the game and you’ll get your work done in the long run!

 

6. Don’t you Scream for ice cream!

It’s not unusual to get your hands dirty and sticky whilst enjoying your favorite Popsicle so just attach a cupcake liner to your ice cream for a no-mess ice cream experience.

 

7. Get your kid to wear his shoe correctly

Just cut a sticker into half and stick it on the inside of the shoes. Now your kid will wear his shoes right!
