GOOGLE CEO NOT SAFE
“If you control the code, you control the world”
After breaking into the Twitter and Pinterest accounts of the Facebook boss, Mark Zuckerberg, the hacker group which calls itself the OurMine Team has hacked the Quora account of the Google CEO Sundar Pichai. The group has been posting messages from the account. This was made clear when tweets linking to his Quora posts appeared on his official twitter account on this Sunday. Pichai has 5, 08,000 followers on Twitter.
Initially, the group started with posting “hacked” using the account. “Hey its OurMine,we are just testing your security, please visit OurMine to upgrade it” was said in later posts.
However Mr. Pichai regained the control over his account after a few hours and the tweets made by them were deleted. OurMine team claims to be helping out people by bringing out the security flaws in their accounts. They stated “We are just trying to let them know that nobody is safe” to the online news portal Mic.
The possible way in which OurMine team gets access to the social media accounts is still a mystery. The hackers claim that they use various exploits to get to know the passwords from celebrities’ browsers.
Sundar pichai and Mark Zuckerberg are not the only victims of the team, former CEO and founder of twitter, Evan Williams and the CEO and co-founder of Spotify also made it to the list.
